1 c melted shortening
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 c peanut butter
3 c flour
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
Cream together shortening, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla, then add eggs and beat well.
Stir in peanut butter then add flour, salt, and soda, mix well and form into small balls,
place on ungreased cookie sheet, press down in criss-cross pattern with a fork dipped in sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
