I like to cook, most of the time. Being able to walk into my kitchen and take stock of what’s in the cupboards and refrigerator to make something tasty to eat is a satisfying experience for me.

Because of family circumstances, I’ve learned to make do and make things that I would normally purchase. Plus, I have the bonus of knowing exactly what’s in it instead of trying to puzzle out the ingredients list on the label.

I’ve decided I’d like to share what I’ve learned right alongside some old tried and true family recipes. So, here we go.
